Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

Savannah is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Traffic in Savannah peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Great tradition in Savannah. They have coffees of all the just varieties, plus pastries and tacos for lunch. I especially recommend the breakfast burrito. The salsas they serve with it are stupendous. There are tons of quirky seating options, so explore. There's akoi pomd, fire pit and upstairs balcony to find. Of note, dogs are welcome just about anywhere but the patio is best. There's public parking out front but also a private lot in the back. Don't miss this spot for breakfast, lunch or both of you're in Savannah!

I stopped in to get my standard latte. It was my first in Savannah and it did not disappoint. Flavor - 4/5 - good depth, not just a syrup Froth - 4/5 Temp -4/5 The women working were very helpful and it was a great conversation while waiting for the drink. I would drink again!

If you're looking for coffee in Savannah, definitely check this place out. The drinks are very good, and every monday evening they have a special matcha latte special for $2. There's plenty of outdoor and indoor seating which is super cozy. Its also right next door to a cute bookstore. If I lived closer I would definitely come here often.

Very fun coffee jointβ that also serves tacos? π very big selection of vegan options in their bakery. Felt a little rushed in checkout and you have to scan the menu on the door. They have it available but you donβt see it until youβve checked out. Barista put my latte in icedβeven though I always get hot. I didnβt think to remind her bc it was raining. The guy working the machine offered to remake it but I didnβt want to be a bother. VERY good loaded baked potato Kolache. My picky 7yo daughter really enjoyed it. Wish they had soy milk but only had almond and oat. Their espresso had a very smoky robust flavor compared to what Iβm used to. Honestly though, very fun Seattle coffee shop feel, good food with lots of options. Just made sure you speak up when you order. Iβd set aside some time to explore. We were just told outside that they have a beautiful courtyard and own and arts and crafts stop just a block up. Definitely worth the stop to experience and try.

All of my Tex-Mex dreams have come true. We came at 9:30am so we could experience breakfast AND lunch. We had the breakfast burritos (ate 1/2 to leave room for lunch) and then went straight into a chipotle chicken taco, a beef and chorizo taco and loved the Mexican-Dips and Chips. The coffee was spectacular and Texas drink options like Horchata, Jarritos and Topo Chico are available. I had a Pineapple Jarrito and a homemade Horchata which was delicious. Beware- the tacos and burritos are packed with lots of yummy ingredients so you will not leave Foxy Loxy hungry. The cute environment offers so many seating options in its multi-level spaces indoors and outside in their amazing courtyard. Service was excellent as the staff was friendly and food came out quickly. Parking isnβt a challenge if you opt to park across the street where you can park for FREE for 1 1/2 hours. Donβt miss this hidden gem in Savannah! Especially if you are a Texan and need a little taste of home. Kolaches included!
